Hello my dear friends,

how are you coping? How are you feeling in these weird times?

I sat down to write this a few times, and every time I felt overwhelmed by the enormous amount of things I wanted to say. And everything changes so fast, that some of the things I wanted to say yesterday, or a week ago, don’t make any sense any more.

Our planned second trip to Poland to make more interviews and photoshoots is of course canceled.  Well, better to say – postponed, as we still hope to deliver this project, and we will do it, but unfortunately only once the borders are open again. The words “closed borders” sound so weird to me, I could never imagine I would live to see the times like this!

My DJ-sets get canceled, my projects get postponed, but I feel like I am not ready to give up! So of course I come up with more ideas that I am happy to share with you.

So, first thing. If you haven’t read this on my FB page yet, here’s what I posted.

It’s been a great big mess lately. I struggle a bit trying to process all what’s happening. But I do my best to stay positive. I mean, I have never expected to become a witness of such an eventful period of human history. And I do believe that this is the time when we must unite and create.

The other day I was completely blown away by the fact that Russian officials have decided (in the middle of the Corona crisis!) to organize the vote for their new constitution on MY birthday – 22nd of April. For those who don’t know – the new constitution includes a mention of god, says that russians are the state forming nation of Russian Federation, positions inner law above the international law norms, directly states that marriage can only be heterosexual, AND gives Putin a possibility stay for at least 12 more years. 

I was outraged. AND THAT ALL ON MY F*CKING BDAY!

Not on my watch.

So I decided that I want a present from you all. It won’t take any money from you, it won’t take much time, but you will have an opportunity to say NO to the reforms in Russia and unleash your creativity!

And yes, today I have found out that due to COVID-19 they are planning to postpone the voting as well, but I want to do it anyway and keep this action until the time when they announce the new date of a so called “referendum”.
