Snowed (well, not literally) by projects

Hey there, my loves!

Well, first of all, thank you so so much for being out there for me!

Thanks for those of you who came to dance to our New Year’s night DJ-set at Salon zur wilden Renate! That was a blast, really. This set inspired me so much to continue searching for new music and working on booking more sets in the nearest future (and you, my dear patrons, will get to know about them first! Also, as usual, you have the spots on my guest lists reserved, so hit me up if you wanna come and dance with me once something is announced).

Another huge thank you goes for your financial support – only with your help I could afford a little getaway to Mallorca! The trip was ridiculously good. I went there with a couple of friends of mine, both amazingly talented photographers and lovely people indeed! You can check out there works here –

Here’s one of the Abdel’s photos while we were hiking through the bushes –

When I was taking my pictures, I felt like a proper Chinese tourist with a cheap digital camera compared to my professional fellow travellers, nevertheless these are my memories and I am fond of them!

And yes, sometimes I am nostalgic about my home country (no, not really) and I this was the case when I saw a trimmed tree that reminded me of a hair-do of one evil deputy from Russian government –

On the Christmas Eve I wrote my new song which is called ‘Present Past’. There I summarised some thoughts on how my perception of relationships with people and myself changed throughout the year 2019. I am happy to share a little snippet from the song which you will find attached.

What do you think? How do you like the direction I am taking now?

I am thinking about making the video for this one as well, but will share more thoughts on this soon.

And last but not the least – I have just embarked on an interesting social project with a friend of mine, again, another amazing photographer – Rick Burger. You can find his works here –

As you have probably heard, the situation for LGBTIQ people in Poland is getting worse and worse. So Rick came up with an idea for social photo-project, where he wanted to emphasise that any invasion into personal life is in this case an attribute of fascism. I am honoured to be invited into this project as a writer. So we are planning our trip to Warsaw later in February. And here I would ask for some advice from you.

I was wondering – may be you have any leads – who could host 2 guys for 3-4 days and who might know of some space that we could use as a photo studio? No equipment needed, we’re bringing anything along, so just the room basically. It doesn’t even have to be really big. And yes, we are not really able to pay for all this as we’re doing it out of our own pockets and travel expenses and materials and equipment are already a lot, so we try to minimise the costs as much as we can.

Also, if you know of any foundations that could be interested in such project – please let me know!

And if you know anyone, who would like to support us in this personally – please forward my Patreon link to them, that is also a great option!

Thank you again and much love to you!
